Art by Alberto Oliveira



Brazilian Alberto Oliveira's works are a mixture of painting, photography and a poetic style of drawing. He immersed himself in the world of visual arts at the Oficina Cultural Oswald de Andrade in São Paulo during the '90s and, in 1996, he took part in a group exhibition called "Em torno de Zumbi dos Palmares" organised by the Museum of Contemporary Art and the University of São Paulo.


Since 2003, he has focused on multi-layer surfaces. In 2006, he contributed to an exhibition and publication organised by Itamaraty (The Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the Brazilian Art Museum (MAB) and Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP). In 2013 he had a solo exhibition, "Continuous Body", at the GabineteD Gallery in São Paulo.
