Polish artist Malgorzata Lazarek is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. The Academy awarded her a lifetime achievement medal and she is a twelve-time winner at Satyrykon in Legnica. She received second prize for illustrations to poems by Zbigniew Herbert, and her oil painting was the "Picture of the Year 2008" in the ZPAP competition in Katowice. She has also received The Grand Prix of Satyrykon and the "More Beautiful Poland" Award. Her work has been exhibited in Poland, Hungary, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France and Poland.
