"Morning Sun" was originally released in 1970 via Doctor Bird, a UK label set up by Australian sound engineer Graeme Goodall. Formed in London in 1967, The Cimarons were the UK's first self-contained indigenous reggae band. Al Barry, AKA Barrington Howard, was a Jamaican singer and producer who was also a member of The Aces, Desmond Dekker's backing band.
