Blanca Regina is an artist, curator and tutor based in London, who is currently involved in creating sound works, audiovisual performances, multimedia installations, photography and book arts. Recent music works include "What Blue", a duo with Steve Beresford, and "Duets with Blanca Regina, Spontaneous Music (2019)". She has created music and films with artists including Peter Cusack, John Butcher, Leafcutter John, Matt Black (Coldcut), Hyelim Kim, Aneek Thapar, Jack Goldstein, David Toop, Steve Beresford, Sharon Gal, Mandhira de Saram, Adriana Camacho and Matthias Kispert. The founder of "Unpredictable Series" with Beresford in 2011, her work has been supported by Arts Council England, Sound & Music, BMC, Amexcid, Photo-España and Garage Cube.
This piece is called "Freya - Improvisation with the Oracle of the Moon". Blanca has selected a card from the "Oracle of the Moon" and created a response to each consultation, using voice, singing bowls, electronics, objects, keyboard and toys.
