It's by Mark Simpson and was created for a Spitfire Audio competition that asks for a new soundtrack to an existing clip by HBO. Mark is a drummer who has drummed for a living from the age of 17. He's toured Europe and the Middle East in pop covers bands and also worked in theatres and local big bands. He has many years' experience playing sessions and has recently completed a film-scoring and music course at Goldsmiths University under the tutelage of composer Mariano Nunez-West. You can still find him playing jazz gigs in London and East Anglia but he is also attempting to branch out into film and TV work. We think he could go far.
