Rebecca Johnson-Bista: collage

Rebecca Johnson Bista is based in West Cornwall. Previously a writer and journalist, she began experimenting with paper cut-out and mixed media collage during the first lockdown as a way to find creative positivity in difficult times. Her work explores relationships between the intimate and monumental, self/other, inside/outside, form, space and colour, drawing on Western modernist and Asian/Islamic influences.
