I've promised myself that I won't write the equivalent of an Oscar speech, but, God, what a year: the well-known authors that we've published; the poets who I've read for the first time; the friends I've made... Wiser heads than mine are suggesting that we go quarterly, and I am seriously considering it, but for now this is the last issue of One Hand Clapping. I'd like to thank Steve Shepherd for his tireless recommendations, Agnes Marton for all of the art, and everybody who has submitted and allowed me to publish them in these pages. To say that it has been a hugely pleasant experience would be an understatement.

In the meantime, I suggest you savour the contributions in what is a brilliant final line-up: Elena Ferrante, David Harsent, John Burnside, Gillian Clarke, Fran Lock, Josephine Balmer, Rosalind Easton, Maggie Sawkins, Steve Shepherd, Annie Fisher, Gale Acuff, Samuel Tongue, Richard Helyar, Kate Hewett, Yessica Klein, Jay Klokker, Phil Miller, King Garbage, Brandon Robshaw and Noah Rasheta. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed putting it together, and we'll be back soon, I hope.
