Charlie Baylis: a poem

martian fruit

the sun shines on her leaves

serves you coffee and oranges

in her boat on the loch

calm down and let the words come

a little tension helps the pot boil

a little lift among the coffee and oranges

the right level of emulsion neither too much nor too

oh piss off you old goat
