Moira Garland: a poem



Anew

Amber glows

in its own light

a serenade on her palm

skin listening to the song of stone


a once-tree

leaves behind

all that is unforgiven

sheds any sorrow.

Anthology publications include the Haiflu chapbook, Black Lives Matter and The Brown Envelope Book. She was the Leeds Peace Poetry prize winner in 2016.
